How to show file extensions in Windows XP?

You follow below steps to show file extensions in windows XP.

Steps:

1. Click on My Computer.
2. Then Clock on C,D or E Drive.
3. After that click on Tool Menu on menu bar.
4. Then Move mouse cursor on Folder Options and then Click on Folder Options.
   
5. Folder options window will open then Click on View tab.
6. Then check mark on Hide extensions for known file types. 
7. After that click on Ok or Apply Button.
