How to add a printer by IP address in Windows XP?

You follow below steps to add a printer by IP address in Windows XP.
Steps:
  1. Click on Start Menu.
  2. Click on Control Panel.
  3. Then click on Printers and Other Hardware.
  4. After that click on Printer and Faxes.
  5. Opens the Printer and Faxes window in Left side given below the Printer task,then click on Add Printer.
  6. Then Add Printer wizard opens,and then click on Next button.
  7. Select the option that describes the printer you want to use:For ex. click on Local printer attached to this computer.
  8. After that click on Next button,and then click on Next button again.
  9. Then Click on Create a new port option button and select Type of port(Standard TCP/IP Port),and then click on Next button.
  10. After that Standard TCP/IP Port wizard opens,Enter Printer name or IP Address & Port Name.
  11. Then Click on Next button.
  12. Select Device Type Standard and then click on Next button.
  13. Then Select Device Port and then Click on Next button.
  14. After that click on Finish Button.
