How to format Windows XP?

You follow below steps to format windows XP.
Steps:

1. Insert your Windows XP installation disc into your CD drive or DVD drive.
2.  Then your computer boots and says "Press any key to boot from CD.."you press any Key.
3. After that CD will load up a blue screen .When it is finished it will list a few options, mainly "Press ENTER to set up Windows XP." You Press Enter key.
4. Then you can delete old partitions and format drives.Use the Up and Down arrow keys to highlight your "C:" partition and press 'D' key .
5.  Then press  'L' key to delete the partition.
6. Then press the 'C' key to create a partition on the drive.
7. Choose NTFS as it is faster and more secure.
8. This will start a format of your drive. 
9. After format is completed, you have to follow next steps.
