How to back up the registry in Windows XP?

You follow below steps to back up the registry in Windows XP.

Steps:

1. Click on Start Menu.
2. Then click on Run, type "%SystemRoot%\system32\restore\rstrui.exe" in Run Text box.
3. After that click on OK button.
   
4. Then Welcome to System Restore page opens,then click on Create a restore point option button.
5. Then click on Next button.
   
6. After that Create a Restore Point page opens, type a name for the restore point and then click on Create button.
   
7. After the restore point is created,then click on Close button.
