How to disable autorun in Windows XP?

You follow below steps to disable autorun in Windows XP.

Steps:

1. Click on Start Menu.
2. Then click on Run, type "Gpedit.msc" in text box, and then click on OK button.
3. Then double click on Computer Configuration.
4. After that double click on Administrative Templates folder.
5. Then click on System folder.
6. In the Settings pane, right-click on Turn off Autoplay, and then click on Properties.
7. After that Click on Enabled option button, and then select All drives in the Turn off Autoplay box to disable Autorun on all drives.
8. Then Click on OK button to close the Turn off Autoplay Properties dialog box.
9. Then Restart the computer.
