Steps:

1. Click on Start Menu.
2. Then click  on Run and type”msconfig” in run text box and click on ok button.
3. After that click on BOOT.INI tab.
4. Then enter time in second  timeout text box.
5. Then click on Apply and OK button.
6. Then click on restart button.
7. After restarting click on Run and type “%temp%” and click on ok button.
8. Then delete all temporary files and then close this window.
9. After that open My computer and right click on C: and select Properties.
10. Then click on Tools tab and click on Check now button.
11. Then click on Start button.
12. After that click on Defragmentation now button.
13. Then click on ok button
