How to change drive letter Windows XP?

You follow below steps to change drive letter Windows XP.

• To assign Drive letter in windows xp. 

 Steps:

1. Click on Start Menu.
2. Then click on Control Panel.
3. After that click Performance and Maintenance.
4. Then double-click on Administrative Tools.
5. Then double-click on Computer Management.
6. After that click on Disk Management in the left pane.
7. Then Right-click on selected drive,and then click on Change Drive Letter and Paths.
8. After that Click on Add button.
9. Then Click on Assign the following drive letter option button,and select the drive letter that you want to use, and then click OK button.

• To Change Drive letter in windows xp.

Steps:

1. Click on Start Menu.
2. Then click on Control Panel.

7. Then Right-click on selected drive,and then click on Change Drive Letter and Paths.

10. Then Click on Yes button when you are prompted to confirm the drive letter change.

•  To Remove Drive letter in windows xp. 

Steps:

1. Click on Start Menu.
2. Then click on Control Panel.
3. After that click Performance and Maintenance.
4. Then double-click on Administrative Tools.
5. Then double-click on Computer Management.
6. After that click on Disk Management in the left pane.
7. Then Right-click on selected drive,and then click on Change Drive Letter and Paths.
8. After that Click on Remove button.
9. Then click on Yes button.when you are prompted to confirm the removal.
