1. Click on Start Menu.
2. Then Click on Control Panel.
3. After that double-click on Security Center.
4. Then click on Automatic Updates.
5. Automatic Updates window opens then click on Automatic(recommended) option button.
6. Then click on Apply button.
7. After that click on OK button.

• To Disable automatic updates in Windows XP
