First & Easy Method:

Steps:

• Right click on My Computer then click on  Manage.
• After that Open Computer management window & Click on Local Users and Groups.
• Then Double-click on Users.
• In right side have a  Name of Users"Administrator"Right click on Administrator and click on Set Password.

• After that Set Password for Administrator dialog box opens then click on Proceed button.
• Then Type New Password & Confirm Password & Click on OK button.

 

Change Password in xp

Second Method:
Steps:

1. Click on Start and then Click on Control Panel.
2. Click on the User Accounts.
3. In User Accounts window, click on your Windows XP user name (Ex."Administrator","Guest")
4. Choose the Change my password.
5. In the first text box, type your existing password.  
6. In the next two text boxes, enter the New Password.
7. Click the Change Password button.

Now that your Windows XP password has been changed, you must use your new password to log on to Windows XP.
